Senior PHP Developer

At Pharmapod we are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to work on our Patient Safety product.

With the solution successfully in production on multiple healthcare environments in Europe and North America, this is a hugely exciting role to work on a truly innovative product and for continued career progression.


  • You will have significant real world technical expertise in software development, with additional expertise in web development technologies.
  • Working to tight deadlines in an agile environment you will have previous experience in architecting large-scale features designed to work in a 24*7 SaaS infrastructure.
  • Most importantly you enjoy software development, want to enjoy your work and have a desire to continually improve and learn new domains, techniques and approaches.

Person specification

  • Degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience in the software development industry
  • Technically highly competent with several years’ previous professional experience PHP development
  • 6+ years’ experience with object-orientated PHP
  • Experience with databases, particularly MySQL or SQL
  • Zend or Laravel experience highly beneficial (others PHP frameworks welcome)
  • Experience working on the Frontend with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and jQuery
  • Experience working with AngularJS
  • Awareness of patterns-based approaches to design
  • Ability to work at all parts of the software development life-cycle; from requirements definition to testing
  • Fluent English speaker with additional languages a bonus
  • Ability to work in EU without requiring work permit

Customer Success Coordinator

Pharmapod is seeking to recruit a Customer Success Coordinator to join the expanding Customer Success Team.

The successful candidate will work alongside our Customer Success Manager who will provide ongoing mentoring and an opportunity to develop a broad range of skills, whilst working across a wide range of projects and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Success - 50%
  • Manage the customer relationship through the whole life cycle, from initial onboarding through to retention of customers
  • Organising and managing the pilot process with potential clients
  • Deliver outstanding customer service experience to all our users.
  • Manage customer inquiries by phone, e-mail, and/or live chat.
  • Implement creative ways to improve our customer relationships
  • Provide strategic and consultative advice and help solve technical issues.
  • Produce weekly reports on consumer usage and other analytics
Marketing - 30%
  • Organising conferences and events for the company to attend
  • Creating collateral for conferences – flyers, brochures and pullups
  • Creating ads/articles for publishers e.g. magazines
  • Create and share appropriate content (e.g. blog posts) for Pharmapod target audience through Twitter and LinkedIn.
Administration - 20%
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries
  • Ordering office stationery supplies
  • Assist in planning and arranging meetings, including organising transport


  • BA/BS degree in business, communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies and/or related fields.
  • Experience in Customer Service is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and meet challenging deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
