At Pharmapod we are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to work on our Patient Safety product.

With the solution successfully in production on multiple healthcare environments in Europe and North America, this is a hugely exciting role to work on a truly innovative product and for continued career progression.

This is a very exciting opportunity for the right person to grow with Pharmapod and build out the QA department as we continue to grow at an incredible rate.

  • Take ownership for building and executing automated testware for Pharmapod using Agile project life cycle
  • Be comfortable setting up a test framework and strategy from the ground up
  • Develop a medium – long term Test Strategy for Pharmapod
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs using Jira
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client requirements
  • Participate in project meetings to ensure that testing is built into all projects from the start
  • Work very closely with the development team to review functional automation test coverage to ensure quality goals are met
  • Analyse test results
  • Keeping test case suite current, performing maintenance as needed
  • Document all new tests
  • Work with the product, design, sales and operations team
  • 5-10% manual QA required
Experience / Skills / Qualifications
  • Proven experience in test development or test automation
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Strong knowledge of experience using Java/C#, Selenium etc
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • Solid knowledge of SQL
  • Strong interest and passion in software testing
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject or relevant qualifying experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
