The services offered through the App may include services relating to scheduling vaccinations, general clinical services, health care appointments and scheduling blood and other health related tests. We may evolve our Services to include other Services to meet the needs of our customers and for purposes of this Policy, all services offered pursuant to the App shall be referred to herein as “Services”. This Policy is incorporated into, and is part of, our Terms of Use (which are available on this Platform) which governs your access to the Services.

We respect your trust in us to use, store and share your information. In this notice, we explain how we collect personal information about you, how we use it and how you can interact with us about it.

Pharmapod is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and safe experience. By using the Services, you consent to the data practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Policy, please do not use the Services. Each time you use the Services, the current version of this Policy will apply. Accordingly, when you use the Services, you should check the date of this Policy (which appears at the top) and review for any changes since you last reviewed the Policy.

This does not include business contact information that is used for the purpose of communicating or facilitating communication with an individual in relation to their employment, business, or profession, nor does it include anonymized or aggregated data to the extent such data cannot be used to reidentify an individual.

1. What We Collect:

The type of personal information we collect is reasonably connected to the Services you have requested from Pharmapod. For example, to the extent reasonably required or advisable for the particular Service or to determine eligibility for the Service, we may collect the following information:

(a) Your name, age, contact information, gender identification (optional);
(b) name and contact information of your health care provider;
(c) current and historical medical information, allergies and medication, and vaccination status;
(d) health screening information;
(e) location data;
(f) pharmacy preferences; and
(g) such other personal information you voluntarily provide when you use the Services.

Pharmapod also collects anonymous demographic information, which cannot be used to identify you as an individual such as device type or time of access to the Services. This information may be used by Pharmapod for the operation and development of the Services, to maintain quality of Services and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Services.

Please keep in mind that we do not control your use of the Services to share information with others. If you chose to share information publicly through the Services, please understand that we cannot control the actions of third parties with access to this information.

We collect the personal information directly from you unless you give us consent to collect it from your health care provider or health care facilities.

2. Use of Your Personal Information:

Pharmapod collects and uses your personal information to operate the Services and deliver the Services you have requested. The uses may include the following:

(a) Scheduling vaccinations;

(b) follow up on vaccinations and determine existence of side effects;

(c) determining appropriate pharmacy or health care provider locations;

(d) determine location of health care providers relevant to the Services;

(e) scheduling blood tests and tests for other health related matters;

(f) reporting results of tests;

(g) contacting you about the Services you have requested; and

(h) internal record keeping

We may also use the information to:

(i) to improve our products and services

(j) periodically send promotional messages to inform you of other products or services available from Pharmapod. If you do not wish to receive our promotional messages, please follow the unsubscribe procedure included in each of these messages. For additional information on how to opt-out of certain of our information handling practices, please see section below entitled "Opt-Out".

(k) notify you about changes to our Services;

(l) develop new or optimize existing functions;

(m) enforce our terms, conditions and policies;

(n) for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, security, fraud-detection, and account management, and market research purposes;

(o) ensure your safety and security in case of any crime and misuse of our Services;

(p) maintain and improve our products and services and otherwise running and managing our business in the ordinary course;

(q) assist you when you contact customer support services, including directing your questions to appropriate individuals, investigating and addressing any of your concerns and monitoring our customer support responses;

(r) in order to comply with our legal obligations, to protect our legal interests and as necessary to perform tasks in the public interest or to protect the vital interests of our users and other people; and

(s) create anonymized data which is information that cannot reasonably be connected to an identifiable individuals (and no longer be personal information).

If you opt-in, we may use your contact information, including your phone number, to send you details of appointment cancelation, updates to Privacy Policy, other important matters we feel are important to you.

3. Disclosure To Third Parties:

(a) In order to provide the Services, personal information may be shared and transferred to the pharmacist and health providers providing or supporting the Services you’ve requested.

(b) We provide that information and content which is reasonably necessary to service providers who support our business by providing services to us or on our behalf to you, such as cloud service providers data hosting. We use contractually and other means to ensure our service providers provide a level of protection to personal information comparable to what we offer.

(c) We use analytics and measurement providers to help us improve Services including by assisting us with content measurement and following your activity on our Services across your devices. We share your mobile advertising ID and other device data with measurement companies so that they can link your activity on the Services with your activity on our advertisers' websites.

We may also transfer your personal information to third parties under special circumstances to i) comply with a legal requirements, judicial proceeding, court order or legal process served on Pharmapod or its affiliates; ii) to investigate a possible crime, such as fraud or identity theft; iii) in connection with the sale, purchase, merger, reorganization, liquidation or dissolution of Pharmapod; iv) when we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of the company or other persons; or v) as otherwise required or permitted by law, including any contractual obligations of Pharmapod.

4. Aggregate Information:

Aggregate information is information that does not directly and cannot with reasonably available information identify you. It may be collected when you use the Services independent of any information that you may volunteer and includes such things (to the extent they are aggregated and non-identifying) as the date and time of your visit, the phone network associated with your mobile device, your mobile device’s operating system or platform, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID and the features of our Services that you accessed. You can stop all collection of information by our Services by uninstalling the relevant applications and ceasing use of the Services. You may use the standard uninstall process as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. Pharmapod may collect, use, store and transfer Aggregate information without restriction, including for research or for business purposes as permitted by applicable law.

5. Opt-Out:

(a) You may withdraw your consent for our use and collection of your personal information at any time, however this may limit the services and products we can provide. Any request to opt-out will not apply to information handling practices which have already been undertaken pursuant to an earlier consent. To opt out, you must contact us using the contact information set out at the end of this Policy.

(b) You may opt out of use of cookies through your browser settings (see more information on this in the Cookies and Personalized Advertising section below).

(c) You can opt out of many targeted ads served via specific third party vendors by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Opt-Out page or the Network Advertising Initiative’s Opt-Out page.

(d) You may opt-out from and stop receiving SMS text marketing communications from us, by texting STOP to a text message from us. After texting STOP to our shortcode you will receive one additional message confirming that your request has been processed. If you unsubscribe from one of our text message programs, you may continue to receive text messages from us through any other programs you have joined until you separately unsubscribe from those programs.

6. Cookies and Personalized Advertising:

We and our service providers may use cookies and other technologies (such as web beacons), as well as resettable device identifiers, for various reasons. We want you to be informed about our use of these technologies, so this section explains the types of technologies we use, what they do, and your choices regarding their use. Cookies are small data files that are commonly stored on your device when you browse and use websites and online services. We use other technologies such as browser storage and plugins (e.g., HTML5, IndexedDB, and WebSQL). Like cookies, these other technologies may store small amounts of data on your device. Web beacons (also known as clear gifs or pixel tags) often work in conjunction with cookies. Cookies often contain a unique identifier, allowing us to recognize you when you visit our website or use our Services again. Personalised Advertisement. We may participate in personalised advertising and use third party advertising companies to serve you targeted advertisements. We may share, or we may permit third party online advertising networks, social media companies and other third party services to collect information about your use of the Services over time so that they may play or display ads on the Service, on other websites, apps or services you may use, and on other devices you may use.

Typically, this information is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies. These third parties may collect, or we may share, mobile identifiers, such as the ID for Advertising for iOS (IDFA), Google Advertising ID, as well as your device's IP address, information about other applications on your device, your location, information about your use of the Service, email address or hashed data and information about which advertisements you have seen or clicked on.

We and our third-party partners use this information to make the advertisements you see online more relevant to your interests, as well as to provide advertising-related services such as reporting, attribution, analytics and market research.

You may be able to limit the use of these identifiers for interest-based advertising on a particular device through the settings on your device by selecting "limit ad tracking" (iOS) or "opt out of interest based ads" (Android). You may also be able to opt-out of some, but not all, interest-based ads served by mobile ad networks by visiting and downloading the mobile AppChoices app.

7. Controlling Your Personal Information:

You can request that any personal information stored by Pharmapod be deleted at any time and request that we stop certain personal information handling practices (such as personalized advertising) by contacting us at We may require you to provide certain information to verify that it is you making the request.

8. Children and Privacy:

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in connection with any Services provided through our Services, and our Services are not to be used by those under the age of 13. If we become aware that an individual under the age of 13 has provided personally identifiable information through our Platform, we will immediately remove the individual’s personally identifiable information from our files.

9. How We Protect Your Information:

We take the security of your personal information very seriously. We use reasonable administrative, physical and technical safeguards to secure the personal information that you share with us. Despite these safeguards and our additional efforts to secure your information, we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third-parties will not be able to defeat our security, and inappropriately collect, access, steal or modify your personal information.

The security of your use of the Services relies on your protection of your mobile device. You may not share your instance of the application with anyone. If you believe that an unauthorized access to your instance of the application has occurred, please report it immediately to You must promptly notify us if any information submitted to the Services is lost, stolen or used without permission.

The security of the user profile that you create to interact with the Services, if any, relies on your protection of your login credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials, including your password and for any and all activities that occur under your account. You may not share your password with anyone. We will never ask you to send your password or other sensitive information to us in an email, although we may ask you to enter this type of information into the Services.

Any email or communication purporting to be from Pharmapod requesting your password or asking you to provide sensitive account information should be treated as unauthorized and suspicious. 10. Retention of Your Personal Information:

We only ever retain personal information for as long as is necessary and we have strict review and retention policies in place to meet these obligations. Pharmapod shall not retain data for longer than is necessary to fulfil the lawful purpose of data processing and for a period of time thereafter until legal rights and remedies have been exhausted.

11. Third-Party Resources:

The Services may direct you to third party resources, including websites and services that Pharmapod does not operate. The privacy practices of these other websites and services will be governed by their own policies and once you have linked to these other resources, you should note that we do not have any control over those resources.

Pharmapod is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on web sites or services outside of Services or the Pharmapod family of websites.
